Due to Covid 19 restrictions group workshops will not take place at this time. However you can book a private one on one tuition day to learn the art of stained glass on a date that suits you. This is a great way to learn stained glass because you will have my undivided attention and opportunities to pick my brains for a day.
I will design the day to suit your skill level. From beginner to advanced a suitable template will be designed for you to make on the the day.
The day will start at 10.30 and finish at 4pm. I will teach you all the basics of stained glass including cutting, leading and soldering. You will become familiar with the tools and equipment used and you will make your own pre-designed panel of stained glass. Cost €200 including lunch.
The course content will include:
- Introduction to stained glass, safety issues, technical considerations,
- Stained glass design,
- Layout and drawing of your design,
- Glass cutting,
- Glass grinding,
- Presentation of stained glass.

Can’t praise Mary’s 2 day workshop enough. Amazing to see how my own skills developed over the two days thanks to Mary’s extremely high level standard of work and tuition. It was great to have a teacher who knows her stuff. I travelled down from Donegal and the journey was well worth it, as I now have the know how to( at the very least) carry on making small pieces myself as a truely rewarding hobbie. Thanks again Mary.
2 of us are interested in attending your course. Could you let us know dates that it will be on ?

Hi Mary do you run short courses in Dublin, if not, do you know who does, or details of an evening course in south dublin on a Tuesday or Thursday, thank you, Anne
