Terms, Conditions & Fees for Goods and Professional Artistic Services provided by Mary J Leen:

All prices quoted are exempt from VAT due to Artists Tax Exemption Status.

Initial consultation fee/ call out site visit fee is €250. An additional €250 is required per design drawing (Payable on day of site visit.)

Additional design drawings will cost €250 each. All drawings must be paid for before design work is commenced. Drawings will not be released to client without advanced payment.

Concept for window to be agreed in principle before drawing is commenced.

Design time and related costs such as site visit, expenses and drawings provided are a separate bill from the final bill for works and services provided.

It is at the discretion of the artist to deduct these initial costs from the final bill if she desires. The client will be informed of this if applicable. These costs will not be included in final bill if paid upfront.

50% of the total cost of the job (non refundable) deposit to be paid upfront when design is accepted. The remaining balance of 50% to be paid upon collecting the Goods or completion of the work/services, or upon fitting or delivery of work. Special custom-made items cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced.

If there is an outstanding balance upon completion of your order, you must pay us within 7 working days. Outstanding balances will be subject to an outstanding balance charge which will accrue at a rate of 10% per calendar month or part thereof from the day of completion of your order.

Fitting fees will be discussed at the start of the job and extra costs outlined in the initial quotation if relevant. All prices for artwork quoted are exempt from VAT due to Artists Tax Exemption Status.

Price is calculated on size, materials, expenses, costs and estimated time required to make work. Basic stained glass with no painted detail will cost less then panels that are painted and very detailed.

A written quotation will be given detailing the work offered. The client will reply to this quotation in writing either accepting or rejecting the job proposal. If there are any changes to be made to the proposal the client will need to inform Mary J Leen within 2 days of receiving the quotation and design. Extra work involved other then that initially quoted for will be subject to additional fees. Quotation is valid for one month from date of issue. It may be subject to change to cover rising costs for materials etc. if necessary. Client will be notified of such changes.

Risk in the Goods shall pass to you when the goods are delivered to, or collected by you or your agent.

Title in the Goods shall not pass to you until both (i) payment is received by us for the Goods; and (ii) no other amounts are then outstanding from you to us in respect of any other Goods and/or Services supplied by us to you.

All Goods remain the property of Mary J Leen until you have paid in full in cleared funds all balances, including any additional charges. No right or licence is granted under the contract to the client under any patent, trademark, copyright, registered design or other intellectual property right except the right to use the goods supplied.  In particular the copyright of Mary J Leen designs, ideas and all artwork remains with Mary J Leen. Mary J Leen has the right to use the image or photographs or video of the work at any time for promotion or any other purpose. The client(s) hereby allow(s) the designer to display any photograph covered by this contract and to generally promote the business in advertising, brochures, magazine articles, websites, portfolio, etc. All designs, concepts, ideas, sketches and final artwork produced are property of Mary J Leen and copyright remains with her.

All Goods remain the property of Mary J Leen until Client has paid in full and cleared all balances, including any additional charges due..
